GRC Professional : GRC Summer 2012
ACI NEWS 5 ACI hosts anti-bribery webinar Bribery and corruption are becoming increasingly challenging issues for compliance and risk officers. ACI’s Martin Tolar recently hosted a webinar that provided a comprehensive overview of anti-bribery legislation in Australia, New Zealand, the United States and the United Kingdom. He also outlined a case study on the Securency international bribery charges in Australia, and provided practical tips for implementing an anti-bribery compliance program. If you would like to receive a copy of the webinar slides, please email email@example.com ACI is pleased to announce that the Associate Intensive program has been accredited as a nationally recognised qualification which means that, on successful completion, candidates will now be awarded a Certificate IV in Compliance Management qualification in addition to receiving ACI’s Associate accreditation (AACI). As part of the process, ACI became a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) under the Vocational Education and Training Act in 2010. ACI has worked closely with industry to build content that is relevant, challenging and contemporary. In early 2012, ACI’s accreditations became formally recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), accomplishing our goal to deliver leading courses for the profession. What this means for you New students: A Certificate IV is designed for supervisory and management positions and the new qualification will reflect the skills and competencies inherent to compliance professionals. All candidates who successfully complete the course will benefit by holding the only nationally recognised qualification dedicated to compliance, which will be transportable and instantly recognised by employers wherever they go. Past graduates: The good news for our past graduates is that the Certificate IV is formal recognition of the quality of ACI’s existing programs and your accreditation will still be highly regarded. For those who have completed the Associate Intensive in the last 12 months and wish to attain the added Certificate IV qualification, a bridging course will be available. For more information, please contact ACI’s professional development manager, Maree Hurley on +61 2 9290 1788 or email firstname.lastname@example.org National recognition of Associate Intensive program
