Compliance and Risk standards Currently ACI offers the Australian and New Zealand Standard for Compliance Program: 3806 and the ISO Standard for Risk Management: 31000, but we will also be looking to offer any other relevant ISO or New Zealand/Australian co-approved Standards, should members have other requirements. To purchase either of these standards, members can contact the ACI office directly by phone or email, or you can log on to the ACI website: www.acigrc.com and under the ‘Tools and Resources’ tab you will find the menu for the Shop. These items are held under the category: ‘Publications, Reports and Tools’. Your online purchase will alert staff and they will facilitate a purchase on your behalf directly from Standards New Zealand – you will not be able to download immediately. They will be emailed to you shortly after the confirmation of your payment. Where do i find? These business tools can help you in your day- to-day role. understanding the standards ACI working parties have also produced a number of publications to support the implementation of these standards especially suited to those not currently familiar with their application or who would like greater detail and practical insights, particularly about specific sections of the standards. These resources are also available on the ACI site, free of charge to ACI members. Again, to access, look under the ‘Tools & Resources’ tab and you should see both resources listed under there. Each principle has its own page of detailed information about the requirements for implementing the applicable program in your organisation and some indicators for ‘success’. explaining your role ACI’s Quick Guide to Compliance, Ethics, Governance, Risk and Corporate Social Responsibility continues to be one of its most popular publications for use by members when trying to communicate with stakeholders about their role within the organisation and the value it can provide. A PDF download is available to members, again under this resources tab on the website, or you can contact the ACI office should you need hard copies posted out to you for distribution. ACI is continuing to develop additional activities and ways members can be involved. Keep an eye on the GRC Professional magazine and enewsletter for further updates.•••
